    Hello Everyone!

    Happy New Year to ALL!

Just a quick note to let you know that the newly updated 2013 Membership Graphics will soon be available from the IAMI Association web site.

We are also happy to announce that Radioasis Studios (an affiliated media production company) has notified us about several new test-audio tracks that will be made available to IAMI members later in January. These are special 20-minute meditation tracks that have been designed as a supplement to your regular practice. Radioasis expects to provide three of these test tracks to our members for review by the end of January. More details will be provided upon release.

Ito, Japan --- While filming continues through November 6th, we have been able to send a couple of short sample clips of the Oct. 28th kids' class back to the studio in the Northeast US. They managed to assemble a brief 1:30 test sequence before the Hurricane arrived.

You can view the test sequence here:

We'll have much more to share with you when the footage is returned from Japan in a couple of weeks.

The C.MI. Program will be in Japan later this week (Oct. 25 to Nov. 8th) filming a series of location, background and interview segments for several new mindfulness meditation programs (and a documentary). While all program release dates have not yet been set, some segments are expected to be available beginning in the first quarter of 2013.

The Japanese segment of the filming will include interviews with Rinzai Zen Monks at two separate locations. We will meet with IAMI Advisory Board Member, Shinkai Riko Kondo, of Kokorono Sato Zen Center (Ito Prefecture). While there, we will be conducting an interview segment - and will also have the chance to cover her Children's Meditation program (with which we are partnering on an upcoming add-on certification).

Another important interview is scheduled with 84-year-old Senior Zen Nun, Tenshin Shyunin, who oversees major Tokugawa-line Temple, Jyo Rin An, in Tokyo. She has an amazing biography that we look forward to sharing in the documentary. Her teachings will also contribute to an advanced meditation certification program we expect to have available later next year.

We do plan on making some of the interview transcripts available (either in whole or in part) to C.MI. students, graduates and Level-2 / Level-3 IAMI Instructor Members as they become available --- and we may even have some production video previews (and behind the scenes footage) available to share with you later in November.

C.MI. Director, IAMI Advisory Board Member, (and BBI Media Director and Producer), Stephen Rinaldi, stated on Wednesday --- "The second-half of 2012 saw the addition of our newly expanded in-house media production facilities for both BBI Media and Radioasis Studios. We're very excited to be able to include such a exiting collection of Mindfulness Meditation projects as some of the first releases from this new facility. Our new capabilities allow for a great expansion of audio / film and multimedia projects over the coming year - and I'm very happy to be able to devote so much of our resources and focus toward spreading the great benefits of Meditation Practice worldwide."

    Hello Everyone,

We're very happy to finally launch the new IAMI web site! We'll be busy over the next month as we work to add some minor finishing touches, but for the most part, the association is open and ready to welcome visitors and new members from around the world.

Please bear with us as we begin to migrate existing members and organizations to the new system (which now includes a member-editable directory listing). We expect to have this task completed by early July.

We will also be actively adding private members-only resources and materials to the site over the coming weeks as well.

So, once again, welcome! We look forward to working with you.
